Maharashtra welcomes Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi
KOLHAPUR, 8 September 2010: The Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi on its journey across the country has reached Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The baton was received by renowned shooter Tejaswini Sawant. The ace shooter became the first Batonbearer in Kolhapur.
Exited children lined up along the 10 kilometre long relay route, dancing to the beats of ‘Manjeeras’ and ‘Leijhems’. Enthusiasm among the people of Kolhapur was exceptional.
